Establishing Trust After an Arguement

Bringing Back Trust into the Relationship:
This is a difficult things to do - but not impossible. It is a two-sided proposition though. You both must be open to re-establishing the relationship, and willing to work on it. The most obvious starting place would be an apology, and it must be a sincere one. Be as honest as you can - your sincerity will go a long ways to establish an opening to resolve things. Sometimes, couples just go in opposite directions for awhile, and the split isn't serious. If this is true in your case, you might just sit down for a long talk. Concentrate on the areas of your relationship that you know are valuable to both of you, and give your loved-one time to tell you their side. LISTEN. You really need to hear where they're coming from, so you can work on the problems. And really listening will show how much you care about her/him, and give you more insight into the problems.
There is a wonderful book called The Magic of Making Up, which covers a lot of different situations and will offer relevant solutions. Some problems can be solved quickly, and others may take time and patience to work them through. Don't give up - true love will win out.
